COLUMBIA, S.C. — Kate Pouliot from the South Carolina softball team has been named AgSouth Athlete of the Week.

Pouliot tossed her first career no-hitter in the Carolina Classic finale against Bucknell, walking one and striking out seven in the 43rd no-hitter in USC history. She carried a perfect game into the sixth against the Bison in the first game before leaving the contest after allowing the only run in the tournament in the top of the seventh.

Pouliot currently leads the team with a 1.14 ERA.
