COLUMBUS, OHIO – South Carolina senior swimmer Christy Williams concluded a celebrated Gamecock career, as she finished 37th in the 200-yard butterfly on Saturday at the NCAA Championship hosted by The Ohio State University. Williams also swam in the 200 IM and 100 fly at the three-day NCAA event.

Williams turned in a time of 2:00.05 during the morning preliminary round to finish the event in 37th position. Oregon State’s Saori Haraguchi finished first in the event during Saturday night’s final with a mark of 1:52.39.

South Carolina’s Nicholas Walkotten and Dominique Lendjel will represent Carolina at the men’s swimming and diving championship, to be held March 27-29 in Federal Way, Wash. Visit www.GamecocksOnline.com next week for a full schedule and information on South Carolina’s participants.
