The University of South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office has approximately 600 tickets on sale for the Gamecocks’ home football game against Tennessee, scheduled for Saturday, November 1, it was announced today. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.

“These tickets were in the allotment reserved for Tennessee but became available when they were returned this week,” said Athletics Ticket Director Lance Grantham. “Seats will be available in both the lower and upper decks,” noted Grantham.

The tickets, priced at $50 each, are available at the South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office, located at the Colonial Life Arena, and through the official athletics department website, www.gamecocksonline.com. Ticket office hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Gamecocks (5-3, 2-3 SEC) have this week off in preparation for Tennessee, while the Vols (3-4, 1-3 SEC) play host to undefeated and second-ranked Alabama on Saturday, October 25.

Tennessee leads the all-time series with South Carolina by a 21-3-2 margin, including an 8-2-2 advantage in games played in Columbia. The Volunteers won by a 27-24 decision in overtime last year in Knoxville. Four of the last five meetings between the two teams have been decided by a touchdown or less.
