The South Carolina – Arkansas football game, scheduled for Saturday, November 8 at Williams-Brice Stadium, will be available throughout the Palmetto State on a pay-per-view basis and throughout the remainder of the country as part of ESPN’s GamePlan package, Athletics Director Eric Hyman announced tonight.

The Southeastern Conference granted a one-time only waiver allowing South Carolina to produce and distribute the game. Kick time remains at 1 p.m. ET.

“There has been a lot of discussion on this subject since last week,” said Hyman. “We’ve been working on this for a while behind the scenes to pull this off. We want to thank the Southeastern Conference for being very supportive. They had to get the necessary clearances. This is a win-win for everybody. We’ll be able to play the game at 1 p.m. and still have it televised on a pay-per-view basis. We were able to get it all worked out.”

Arkansas leads the all-time series, 10-6, including wins in each of the last two meetings. The teams have split the previous eight games in Columbia evenly.

The Gamecocks (6-3, 3-3 SEC) are coming off a 27-6 win over Tennessee, while Arkansas (4-5, 1-4 SEC) upset undefeated Tulsa last weekend.
