COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Gamecocks kept up their winning ways in fall ball, sweeping USC Aiken, 3-2 and 7-0, in the second of four doubleheaders that comprise their exhibition schedule.

Senior Adele Voigt went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI in game one, driving in the game-winning run in the sixth on a single to center. Senior Lindsay Walker also went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the first one. In game two, April Borchardt went 2-for-3 with four runs driven in to lead the squad to the 7-0 win. She brought home two runs in both the fourth and fifth.

Sophomore Kelsey Goodwin tossed six innings between the two games, striking out seven while allowing just five hits, two walks and one earned run.

There are no games this weekend due to fall break on campus. The squad hosts Coker College on Oct. 16 at 5 p.m.
