COLUMBIA, S.C. – Stephen Garcia from the South Carolina football team has been named AgSouth Athlete of the Week.

Garcia completed 22-of-33 passes for 312 yards and two touchdowns in the Gamecocks’ 14-10 win over Vanderbilt. He connected on touchdown passes of 35 and 43 yards. He led the Gamecocks on a 99-yard touchdown drive early in the fourth quarter for the winning score. On that game-winning drive, he completed passes of 43, 23 and 43 yards (109 yards due to a holding penalty).
