The University of South Carolina football squad returned to the Bluff Road practice fields Friday afternoon. They worked out for about two hours in full pads.

The only new injury to report from Thursday’s scrimmage was a left ankle sprain to offensive guard Terrence Campbell.

Following the workout the team enjoyed its annual watermelon feed courtesy of the South Carolina Watermelon Board. On hand was Blair Boozer, the 2010 South Carolina Watermelon Queen. Boozer is a recent USC grad with a degree in broadcast journalism.

The team will return to Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday morning for another scrimmage. The scrimmage, which is closed to the public and the media, will start at 10 a.m., one hour earlier than originally scheduled.
