University of South Carolina senior cornerback Chris Culliver has been cleared to play in Saturday’s SEC opener against Georgia.

Culliver, a 6-1, 197-pound senior has started 25 games in his Carolina career. He earned second-team All-SEC accolades as a junior free safety in 2009.

As of noon on Friday, there was no official update on the status of offensive tackle Jarriel King.
