Governor Sanford Speaks to the Team

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Governor Mark Sanford invited members of the 2010 South Carolina baseball team to the Governor’s Mansion on Monday evening and presented the team and head coach Ray Tanner with the Gamecock flag that flew on on the top of the State House following the team’s national championship victory at the College World Series. The team was treated to dinner by the Governor and had the opportunity to tour the Governor’s mansion as well. Also in attendance were University of South Carolina Trustees Greg Gregory & Leah B. Moody along with Department of Commerce Secretary, Joe E. Taylor Jr. and Senator John Courson.

Here are some photos of Monday evening’s event. Special thanks to Ben Fox, communications director for Governor Sanford for all his help and assistance.
