Now, for today’s question:
With the snowfall in Columbia early Monday morning, the first day of class was cancelled. So what did you do on Monday’s snow day?
Laura Mendes: I played in the snow with Milks and Ash! We road skim boards down a hill. It was so much fun! Then we built my first Snow Woman for our neighbor’s two-year-old daughter, Ivory. Oh and we had a snowball fight that turned into complete hilariousness. Hannah and Ash ganged up on me. We ended the day with some good food at our house, which I cooked.
Hannah Milks: I went sledding with a skim board, defaced someone’s snowman, and went to Panera for lunch! We made a snow-woman at Ashley and Laura’s house and had big snowball fight with them. I stayed cozy the rest of the night and watched the championship game
Julie Sarratt: I slept late, which was nice! Then, I watched “Easy A” at Russell House with my roomies and played a little Catch Phrase.
Chelsea Hawkins: We went and saw the movie Easy A in the student union and then came back to our room. I got my handy dandy Christmas present out, Catch Phrase! 🙂 All of us roomies played that, and some of the baseball team played too! And as we were walking to the Russell House for the movie, and also walking back, we had a mini snowball fight. It was too tempting to not throw one. Haha.
Dana Hathorn: I played in the snow with Samie Garcia, went to see a free movie at the student union, and played Catch Phrase with the roommates and freshman baseball players. I also took a nap!
Samie Garcia: Dana and I took pictures and made snow angels!
P.J. Fulmer: I played in the snow: snowball fights and sledding. I made snow cream (so good), watched a marathon of Bad Girls Club, and played XBox Kinect, Dance Central, Biggest Loser and Sports…volleyball, soccer, boxing and bowling. And, of course, I watched the SEC win another national championship.
Audrey Broyles: I cleaned my room. I mean deep cleaning that was way overdue! And I walked to P.J.’s apartment, and we made ice cream out of the snow 🙂 Yummy.
Kylie Morin: Molly Brossart and I took our new puppy, Nike, out in the snow for his first time.
Kierstyn White: I played just dance on the Wii with Kelley and Evan and then played in the snow! We also played Michael Jackson: The Experience.
Kelley Dillon: For the snow day, I slept then played Michael Jackson: The Experience and Just Dance with Kierstyn and Evan. It was a great way to get some cardio in. We also played in the snow, but it was really cold.
Carolyn Bryan: Whooped butt at Just Dance on Wii with Evan, Kierstyn and Kelley. I got the moves!
Kandyce Redondo: My puppy, my roommates and I went out and had a snow fight and tried to have a snowball fight with our neighbors. We failed.
Lauren Lackey: I slept in, had a snowball fight with my roommates and the neighbors, watched movies, and did some indoor cardio.
Sam Arbaugh: I slept in, watched movies, had a snowball fight with my roommates Kaitlin, Kandyce and Lauren, and cooked dinner because NOTHING was open.
Sarah Eidt: Sarah Eidt: Went and saw “Easy A” with my roommates, played Catch Phrase and got hit in the head with a snowball.
