COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina’s final regular-season swim meet on Saturday, Jan. 29, against Alabama and Georgia will begin at noon ET instead of 2 p.m. as previously announced.

The diving portion of the meet will get underway at 10:30 a.m., and 11 Gamecock seniors will be honored as part of Senior Day festivities at approximately 11:30 a.m. Part of the reason behind the time change was travel plans for a group of Gamecock divers, who will be leaving right after the meet to head to USA Diving Winter Nationals and Canadian Winter Nationals.

South Carolina’s men, entering the meet at 9-0 (1-0 SEC) and ranked No. 23 in the nation, will attempt to complete the first undefeated season in school history against No. 11 Georgia and No. 17 Alabama. The Carolina women (6-5, 1-2 SEC) will face a big challenge in Georgia, the nation’s No. 2-ranked team, and an Alabama foe that is just outside the top 25.

Admission is free to all South Carolina swimming & diving meets.
