With opening day hours away, it’s time to hear what the Gamecocks are most looking forward to on Friday. Here’s what they had to say.Julie Sarratt: I’m looking forward to finally being able to compete and WIN!

Kaitlin Westfall: Excited to start our new chapter and to see how much our hard work is paying off.

Chelsea Hawkins: Just playing together with my team and showing on the field all the hard work we have put in. We all have put in our time and worked hard everyday at practice, now it’s time to show what we are made of on the field 🙂 I love my team!!

Laura Mendes: HITTING! 🙂 CAN’T FREAKING WAIT SO EXCITED I’M DREAMING ABOUT IT!

Evan Childs: I’m pumped to see all the energy that our team will have opening day. Everybody is stoked that it’s almost here. I can’t wait for it to actually be here!

Kandyce Redondo: I’m most looking forward to officially beginning our new chapter and seeing everything we’ve worked hard for implemented.

Carolyn Bryan: Winning!!!! (Don’t worry I knocked on wood).

Ashley Chastain: Beating Charleston Southern with my sisters!

Audrey Broyles: I am most looking forward to the start of a new chapter 🙂

Kelley Dillon: The ability to play since I was ineligible for the fall. The opportunity to play in the spring is very exciting for me. I am looking forward to a successful opening day.

Kierstyn White: just to kicking off the new season!!!!
