COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina head softball coach Beverly Smith and her staff will offer five different camps this summer in the Columbia area, including camps for young children up to high school players.

The five camps, two days each, start on July 5-6 at the USC Indoor Complex. These sessions being with a pitching and catching camp on July 5-6, while an advanced hitting camp, with 50 spaces available, comes on July 7-8. A camp for players looking to play on the next level is next over July 11-12, with space limited to 50 players. The final two camps run over July 13-14, with a fundamentals camp for ages 8-14 and a Lil’ Gamecocks camp for 5-8-year-olds.

All registration for the camps is free online and can be found at bevsmithsoftball.com. Families can also find more information on each camp, including prices, directions to the camp sites, bios on the coaches and the release forms that must be completed to participate.

These camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.
