The University of South Carolina football team climbed one notch in both major polls released today. They are ranked No. 14 in the Associated Press poll and 12th in the USA Today/Coaches poll.
The Gamecocks (6-1, 4-1 SEC) are coming off a hard fought 14-12 win at Mississippi State on Saturday afternoon. The Gamecocks will enjoy a bye week this week before traveling to Knoxville to face the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, October 29.
The Gamecocks will return to the practice fields Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m.
