The South Carolina Gamecocks will face the Tennessee Volunteers at 7:15 p.m. ET on Saturday, October 29, it was announced today. The game at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville will be televised nationally on either ESPN or ESPN2. That selection will be made after the completion of games on Oct. 22.

The No. 14/12 Gamecocks (6-1, 3-1 SEC) have a bye week this weekend in preparation for their contest at Tennessee. Carolina was ranked 14th in the first BCS Standings that were released late Sunday night. The Vols (3-3, 0-3 SEC) will travel to face Alabama this weekend in Tuscaloosa.
