COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gamecock fans gathered at Carolina Stadium on Wednesday to celebrate the 2012 South Carolina baseball team and wish the group well as it departed the stadium en route to Omaha for the 2012 College World Series.

South Carolina begins play at the 2012 College World Series on Saturday, June 16 against Florida at 9 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on ESPN.
