The Gamecocks head north to Blacksburg, Va., to compete in the Hokie Invitational hosted by Virginia Tech in the Rector Field House. South Carolina is coming off a successful week after posting five wins and placing athletes in the top-5 in 13 events at the competitive Auburn Invitational last weekend. The Gamecocks also hosted a midweek meet on Wednesday, claiming six wins.

Competition begins Friday at 5 p.m. and continues Saturday at 11 a.m.

The men’s team will face ranked opponents in No. 15 Virginia Tech and No. 19 North Carolina State. The field also includes, Charlotte, Concord, Norfolk State, North Carolina, UNC-Greensboro and Wake Forest.

The newly ranked No. 20 Gamecock women’s team will face No. 10 UCF along with Charlotte, Concord, James Madison, NC State, Norfolk State, North Carolina, Greensboro, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

Gamecock Individuals in the Top-20
This season, the top 16 marks/times for each individual event qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships. For the relay events, the top 12 teams will qualify for the championships.
