South Carolina All-American defensive end Jadeveon Clowney has advanced to the finals of voting for the 2013 ESPY Award for “Best Play” for his hit and fumble recovery during the Gamecocks’ Outback Bowl victory over Michigan on January 1, 2013.
Bracket-style voting for the award started on June 27, with two rounds of voting narrowing down 16 nominees to the four finalists. Clowney earned the No. 1 seed in the bracket.
Fans may vote for Clowney at ESPN.com/espys. Click on “Best Play” under the award categories, select Clowney’s play, then click “Submit Vote”.
Voting will end on Wednesday, July 17, at 9 p.m. ET. with the start of the ESPY Awards telecast live on ESPN. Clowney will be in attendance at the awards show.
