The University of South Carolina football team will host the Mississippi State Bulldogs at 12:21 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 2, it was announced today. The game will be televised by SEC TV.

Approximately 1,600 tickets remain for the game, which will be part of the University’s annual Homecoming festivities.

The Gamecocks lead the all-time series with Mississippi State by an 8-6 margin, but the teams have met just once since 2007, a Carolina 14-12 win in Starkville on October 15, 2011. Carolina has won each of the last six meetings between the two schools and own a 4-3 record when the team have met at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The No. 20/20 Gamecocks (5-2, 3-2 SEC) travel to SEC Eastern Division leading and No. 5/7 Missouri (7-0, 3-0 SEC) on Saturday, October 26. Meanwhile, Mississippi State (3-3, 0-2 SEC) has a Thursday night encounter with Kentucky (1-5, 0-3 SEC) this week.
