The University of South Carolina football team will host Clemson University at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 30, the SEC announced today. ESPN2 will televise the contest nationally from a sold-out Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.
The Gamecocks are 8-2 overall and 6-2 in the SEC. They are ranked 11th in the BCS Standings, 12th in the Associated Press poll and 11th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll. Carolina will host Coastal Carolina on Saturday.
The Tigers are 9-1 overall and 7-1 in the ACC. They are ranked seventh in the BCS Standings, seventh in the Associated Press poll and sixth in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll. Clemson will host The Citadel on Saturday.
Clemson leads the all-time series between the two schools by a 65-41-4 count, including a 49-31-3 lead in Columbia, but the Gamecocks have won each of the last four meetings, including a 27-17 win in Clemson last season.
