University of South Carolina wide receiver Pharoh Cooper and linebacker Skai Moore have been named to the 247Sports.com True Freshman All-America second team, it was announced today.

Cooper, a 5-11, 194-pounder from Havelock, N.C., rushed for 193 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries, caught three passes for 54 yards and a score, threw a TD pass and had more than 350 return yards. He earned a spot on the SEC All-Freshman team as both an all-purpose back and as a return specialist.

Moore, a 6-2, 205-pounder from Cooper City, Fla., led the Gamecocks with 51 tackles during the 2013 regular season. A Freshman All-SEC selection, Moore played in all 12 games, starting each of the last four contests. He was credited with 3.5 tackles for loss, a pair of interceptions and a fumble recovery.

Cooper, Moore and their Carolina teammates will begin bowl mini-camp on Tuesday. The No. 8/8 Gamecocks (10-2, 6-2 SEC) are preparing for a New Year’s Day match in the Capital One Bowl with the 19th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers (9-3, 6-2 Big Ten). Game time is set for 1 p.m. ET at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando.
