Gamecocks Place Four on Phil Steele's Midseason All-SEC Teams

Four players represent the University of South Carolina on Phil Steele’s 2014 Midseason All-SEC team, it was announced today.
Offensive lineman A.J. Cann and placekicker Elliott Fry were named first-team performers, while offensive lineman Brandon Shell and linebacker Skai Moore earned spots on the second team.
Cann, a 6-4, 311-pound senior left guard from Bamberg, S.C., and Shell, a 6-6, 333-pound junior right tackle from Goose Creek, S.C., have been the forces up front, helping the Gamecocks average over 34 points and nearly 435 yards of offense a game this season.
Cann was also named to Steele’s first-team Midseason All-America team.
Fry, a 6-0, 165-pound sophomore from Frisco, Texas, has made each of his last 10 field goal attempts and is 10-for-11 on the season. He has also been successful on all 25 of his extra point attempts. He was the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week following his 4-for-4 field goal performance against East Carolina.
Moore, a 6-2, 213-pound sophomore linebacker from Cooper City, Fla., leads the squad with 41 tackles through six games. He produced a career-high 10 tackles in the win over Georgia.
