Nils Wich-Glasen Named AgSouth Athlete of the Week

Freshman Nils Wich-Glasen of the South Carolina swimming and diving team has been named AgSouth Athlete of the Week after helping to lead the Gamecocks to victories over East Carolina and College of Charleston last week.

Wich-Glasen won the 200 breaststroke with an NCAA B cut time of 1:58.4, which is a new personal record and ranks third all-time in school history. Wich-Glasen swam in the 100 backstroke for the first time this season and finished in fourth place with a time of 50.79, which currently ranks third on the team this season. The freshman was also on the Gamecocks winning 400 medley relay team.
