The South Carolina men’s swimming and diving team is currently ranked No. 18 in the country after concluding it’s fall season with a third-place finish at the Virginia Tech Invitational, as announced by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America on Wednesday.

The Gamecocks head into their winter break with a 3-1 record, their only loss of the season coming at No. 17 Georgia Tech.

“It is great for our men to be recognized as one of the top teams in the country,” said head coach McGee Moody. “Both our men and women have worked very hard this season. We have to build on this going into the second half of our season.”

South Carolina, both men and women, are back in action on Jan. 3, 2015, as they host Georgia at Carolina Natatorium.
