COLUMBIA, S.C. –
South Carolina has added a non-conference baseball game with High Point on Wednesday, March 4 at 4 p.m. at Carolina Stadium. The game is a makeup date for Carolina after the February 24 game vs. Davidson was canceled due to rain. Fans with tickets for the February 24 game are asked to bring those tickets for entry into the game between the Gamecocks and High Point. The event will be put on sale by the end of the day, Thursday Feb. 26, for fans that wish to purchase single-game tickets for the game as well.

South Carolina last played High Point in a two-game series in 1973. Both games went extra innings with Carolina winning the first contest 5-4 in 16 innings and taking the second game as well, 9-8 in 10 innings. It is the only times the schools have met on the baseball diamond.
