COLUMBIA, S.C. –
Friday’s South Carolina-Georgia baseball game was halted before the start of the ninth inning with the two teams deadlocked at 5-5 at Carolina Stadium. The game will resume on Saturday at 4 p.m. Game two of the series will start approximately 35 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

Before Saturday’s games, the Gamecocks will honor the 1975 team that finished as national runner-up at the College World Series.

Both games will be available on SEC Network Plus and can be heard on the Gamecock IMG Network including flagship station, 107.5 FM, “The Game.

All tickets for Friday and Saturday’s games will be honored. Fans with tickets to only Friday’s game may stay for the second contest in the standing room only sections. Fans with tickets to only Saturday’s game may come for the first game and watch the game in the standing room only sections as well.

The stadium will not be cleared in between games.
