COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina junior left-handed pitcher Jack Wynkoop was selected by the Colorado Rockies in the 6th round of the 2015 MLB Draft. Wynkoop was the No. 167th overall selection.

Wynkoop went 8-5 with a 3.27 ERA with 16 appearances and 14 starts. Wynkoop pitched a team-high 104.1 innings and struck out 86 batters with just 14 walks. Wynkoop became the 23rd pitcher in school history to reach the 20-win total. Wynkoop currently ranks 17th all-time in career wins with 22 in his three-year career. In league games, Wynkoop was 5-3 in league play with a save and a 3.57 ERA vs. SEC teams as well as 59 strikeouts to eight walks in 70.2 innings.
