Colonial Life Fan Appreciation Day Set for Sunday, August 16

University of South Carolina fans are invited to the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on Sunday, August 16, for the annual Colonial Life Fan Appreciation Day.

Coaches and student-athletes from the Gamecocks’ football team will be on hand to sign autographs for this free event. Doors will open at 1 p.m., with the team is slated to sign from 1:15-2:45 p.m.

The Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center parking lot, located at 1101 Lincoln Street, has 260 first–come, first-serve, complimentary parking spots. In the case that the lot fills up, the Park Street Garage located directly across the street from the facility is available for $2 for the first hour and $1 for every hour after that, up to $10 for the day.

Once you have parked, please enter the Convention Center at the lower level. The Exhibit Hall will be the first room on your left when entering from the CMCC parking lot doors. Please proceed into the Exhibit Hall for the event.

Please be reminded that there is no outside food or beverage allowed in the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

Due to our commitment to NCAA compliance, student-athletes will only sign the official South Carolina Athletics team posters that are provided for free at the event. Please do not bring or ask student-athletes to sign other items. Your cooperation and support for the athletics department in complying with NCAA regulations is greatly appreciated.

With a large crowd expected and a limited amount of time available, it is highly unlikely that fans will be able to receive an autograph of every player in attendance. To accommodate as many people as possible, we ask that fans limit their autograph signings to one poster per person.
