South Carolina swimming and diving head coach McGee Moody has liked what he has seen from the Gamecocks so far this year and really where the program is at this point of his tenure, but he’s not comfortable by any means.
“I don’t think you ever want to be comfortable,” Moody said. “You get too comfortable and that’s when things fall apart around you. I think we’re pleased where they are. We’re pleased with the effort we’re getting and we’re pleased with the fitness level that they have.”
Moody and the Gamecocks know that there is a fine line to all that hard work as they compete in the SEC and they also want to make a statement nationally year in and year out.
