The Southeastern Conference on Wednesday announced the Community Service Team for the sport of football, prior to the SEC Championship Game to be played on Saturday, December 5, at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

Junior placekicker Elliott Fry was selected to represent the University of South Carolina. Fry is active in assisting with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), as he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes as a seven-year old. He was a member of the 2014 SEC Academic Honor Roll

Other representatives include: Reggie Ragland (Alabama), Deatrich Wise Jr. (Arkansas), Jonathan Wallace (Auburn), Mark Herndon (Florida), Malcolm Mitchell (Georgia), Landon Foster (Kentucky), Jamie Keehn (LSU), Evan Engram (Ole Miss), Traveze Calhoun (Mississippi State), Clarence Green (Missouri), Joshua Dobbs (Tennessee), Conner McQueen (Texas A&M) and Stephen Weatherly (Vanderbilt).

The SEC names a Community Service Team for each of its 21 league-sponsored sports, looking to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to his community through superior service efforts.
