High school senior Kobe Smith has officially enrolled at the University of South Carolina and will join the Gamecocks’ football program, it was announced today.

Smith, a 6-2, 294-pounder from Archer High School in Lawrenceville, Ga., becomes the sixth high school student-athlete to graduate early and enroll for the spring semester, joining wide receiver Bryan Edwards, running back C.J. Freeman, quarterback Brandon McIlwain, cornerback Chris Smith, and defensive end Keir Thomas.
