COLUMBIA, S.C. – Three South Carolina women’s soccer matches will be broadcast nationally on the SEC Network this fall, the league announced on Tuesday morning. The Gamecocks and other members of the SEC will be part of the conference’s extensive coverage that includes 50 women’s soccer national telecasts.

South Carolina’s SEC road opener against Auburn on Sept. 18 will mark its first televised contest this season. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. ET, and the matchup will feature a rematch of last year’s SEC quarterfinal contest between the two. The Gamecocks downed Auburn, 2-0, in the regular season last fall at Stone Stadium.

On Sept. 29, South Carolina travels to College Station, Texas, for a primetime league battle against Texas A&M that will air on SEC Network at 7 p.m. ET. The Gamecocks earned their first ever victory over the Aggies last season, a 2-1 decision at home. South Carolina’s third game set to be televised will come at home against Florida on Oct. 16 at 3 p.m. ET. The Gators and Gamecocks have split their last six matches, with five of the contests decided by one goal.

The first round, quarterfinal and semifinal matches of the SEC Soccer Tournament will air on the SEC Network, and the championship game will be shown on ESPNU. South Carolina will also be featured this season on SEC Network+, which is available online through WatchESPN. The school-produced events will be announced at a later date.

The Gamecocks return six starters from last year’s squad that posted a 12-5-3 mark and reached the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time in the last nine years.
