Quoting Coach Bill McDonald

“I’m really proud of how these guys handled themselves this week. It’s one of the most gratifying wins I’ve had as a coach, and my hopes are that they use this experience to springboard into the postseason with some momentum. Ole Miss played some great golf too. They are one of the most talented and well-coached teams that we’ve played against in a long time. We were very fortunate to win, that’s for sure.”

Round Changer Keenan Huskey

Carolina junior Keenan Huskey found his stroke early in round three with six birdies over his opening 11 holes. Huskey’s 14 birdies on the week led the Gamecocks.
