Gamecocks No. 10 in FloSwimming Preseason Rankings

COLUMBIA, S.C. –
The South Carolina men’s swimming team was named No. 10 in FloSwimming’s preseason rankings, the highest preseason ranking in program history. The Gamecocks earned the ranking after finishing 15th at the 2017 NCAA Championships.

The Gamecocks will enter the 2017-18 season having lost only one senior, and returning five All-Americans from last season. The team will also introduce seven newcomers in their highest-ranked recruiting class in history.

South Carolina will kick off the season in Columbia, Mo. as they take on Missouri on Oct. 14th. The SEC opponent is one of two top-25 teams the Gamecocks will be facing this season. The first opportunity to watch the Gamecocks compete will be on Oct. 26 when South Carolina hosts North Carolina.
