SEC Nation Visits Columbia This Weekend

The SEC Network’s traveling pregame show, SEC Nation Presented by Pilot Flying J, will travel to Columbia for Saturday’s annual Palmetto Bowl between South Carolina and Clemson. Airing live from 10 am – noon at Gamecock Park, the show will delve into the storylines of SEC football, the College Football Playoff rankings and more before the teams kick off at 7:30 pm at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The show includes live reports, analysis and features surrounding the world of SEC football, as well as special appearances from hometown favorites. Laura Rutledge hosts the traveling pregame show, navigating the Saturday morning conversations with analysts Tim Tebow, Marcus Spears and Paul Finebaum, along with reporter Lauren Sisler.

For those fans wishing to attend the show on Saturday morning, USC controlled lots in the Fairgrounds (Gates 6-10), Gamecock Park, Woodstock and South Stadium Road will open at 9 am for those holding parking passes. A limited number of parking spaces will also be sold for $40 cash only.

Colonial Life Arena parking lots will be open for shuttle access to Williams-Brice Stadium and Gamecock Park from 9 am – 1 pm for those fans wishing to attend the SEC Nation broadcast. The morning shuttle is free. The shuttle will also run in the afternoon, beginning at 4:30 pm for those fans wishing to attend the game at a cost of $3.00 per person for a round trip fare.

South Carolina State Fairgrounds controlled lots (Gate 12) will open at noon with a limited number of spaces available for purchase at $30 per vehicle. Fairgrounds controlled RV lots are sold out. The Armory lot will open at 2:30 pm.

This will be SEC Nation’s third time in Columbia and the Gamecocks’ sixth total appearance on the show. This is the first time SEC Nation has traveled to Columbia for the Palmetto Bowl.

In addition to the live show Saturday, the University of South Carolina will play host Friday to The Paul Finebaum Show, which airs from 2-3 p.m. on ESPN2 and 3-7 p.m. on SEC Network. Fans are invited to catch all five hours of #FinebaumFriday from the set. Parking will be free in Gamecock Park on Friday.
