Women's Soccer Unveils 2018 Promotions
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The University of South Carolina women’s soccer has unveiled the promotional schedule for the 2018 season, announcing different themes for each home match as well as multiple season long promotions.
South Carolina will first aim to break the attendance record against in-state rival Clemson on August 23 at 7:00 p.m. The current record for the women’s soccer program at Stone Stadium is 5,875 back on August 21, 2015 against Northeastern. The Gamecocks have ranked in the top-10 in the nation for average attendance in each of the past five seasons.
Some promotions this upcoming season include Gamecock Club Appreciation Night, Grandparents Night, Family Appreciation Day and Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Night. For more information on each game, click on the promotions tab.
There will be promotions that run across various games during the season as well. The Weekday Work Perk will be in effect if you show your business card at any weekday game this season to receive $1 admission. There will also be three High School Days this season against Wake Forest, Florida and Texas A&M. Finally, the first 200 students that attend 10 men’s and/or women’s soccer games will receive a free soccer scarf as a part of the Student Soccer Scarf Giveaway.
This season there will also be opportunity to be on the field. As a part of the Gamecocks’ Pitch Pals, youth teams in the 6th grade and under can sign up for this program. There is also a chance to have youth soccer teams playing small-sided scrimmages on the field at halftime of women’s soccer games this season as a part of the Kickin’ It With Cocky program.
The Gamecocks are also inviting Elementary and Middle School choirs out to Stone Stadium to sing the National Anthem before games this season. All singers receive free admission along with $1 admission for guests associated with the singers or school.
