Gamecocks to Play Four Nationally Televised Games

Birmingham, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced today the SEC Network linear and digital broadcasts for the 2018 women’s soccer season. The University of South Carolina will have a total of seven games broadcasted at Stone Stadium, three being on the SEC Network, one on ESPNU and the rest on SEC Network Plus. 
 
The Gamecocks will begin their season on Friday against Fordham, which will be able to be seen on SEC Network Plus starting at 7:00 p.m. ET at Stone Stadium. 
 
On August 23, South Carolina will welcome rival Clemson to the Graveyard. The highly anticipated game is scheduled to appear on the SEC Network starting at 7:00 p.m. with the Gamecocks looking to pack the stadium in efforts to break the attendance record at Stone Stadium. 
 
Just one of the two non-conference games that the Gamecocks play on the road this season will be available for viewing. Fans can find the NC State game via ACC Network Extra on August 26 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
 
The Gamecocks will return to the ESPN family of networks on September 23 to take on Kentucky on September 23 with the game set to be broadcasted on ESPNU beginning at 5:00 p.m. ET. Just five days later, Auburn sets foot in South Carolina. The September 28 match will begin at 7:00 p.m. at will be broadcast on SEC Network Plus for Gamecock soccer fans to enjoy. 
 
October will be a busy month for the Garnet and Black with three games being televised at Stone Stadium. The final stretch of the season will begin on October 7 with a huge match-up between the Gators of Florida and the Gamecocks on the SEC Network. The game will be a rematch of the 2017 NCAA quarterfinal match in which the Gamecocks won 2-0 at Stone Stadium to earn the first ever College Cup berth in program history. 
 
The final two games at home for the South Carolina Gamecocks will be against Missouri on October 18, which will be seen on SEC Network Plus, and Texas A&M on October 25, which will be seen on the SEC Network. 
 
South Carolina heads on the road three times during the month of October, with two games available via SEC Network Plus. Fans can watch the Vanderbilt game on October 12 and the LSU game on October 21.
