Gamecocks Travel to Georgia for SEC Dual Meet

South Carolina men’s and women’s swimming and diving will travel to take on Georgia on Sat., Nov. 3, beginning at noon.

COLUMBIA, S.C.— For a second-consecutive weekend, South Carolina men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams hit the road as they travel to Athens, Ga., for a dual meet against a pair of ranked teams at Georgia on Saturday beginning at noon.  Saturday’s meet will be held in the Gabrielsen Natatorium, the host-site for the SEC Championships this coming February.

The Gamecock women made it into the CSCAA Top 25 for the first time this season, coming in at No. 19 in the latest poll.  Carolina will face a tough test on both sides this weekend as the Bulldog men were ranked No. 9 while the women came in at No. 11 in the latest CSCAA Top-25 poll.

South Carolina will look to bounce back from a pair of tight dual meet losses at North Carolina last week in which the Gamecocks were still able to record 11 top-25 scores/times.
