Baseball America Ranks Gamecocks' Recruiting Class 11th in the Country

South Carolina is one of nine teams from the SEC in the rankings.

DURHAM, N.C. – South Carolina baseball’s recruiting class has been ranked No. 11 in the nation by Baseball America, the publication announced this afternoon (Thursday, Sept. 5).
 
South Carolina is one of nine schools from the Southeastern Conference in BA’s top-25 list while the conference has eight of the top 15 classes. It also is the 10th straight season the Gamecocks’ recruiting class has been ranked by the publication. The recruiting class features six players (Andrew Peters, Brennan Milone, Noah Myers, Brannon Jordan, Thomas Farr and Jeff Heinrich) that were selected in the 2019 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
 
Carolina will start fall ball the week of Sept. 16. The Gamecocks have two fall scrimmages against outside competition this season, as Carolina is at N.C. State on Sept. 29 and hosts Georgia Tech on Oct. 20.
