Down-Jenkins Wins Second Straight SEC Award

COLUMBIA, S.C.— For the second consecutive week, Gamecock swimming and diving sophomore Anton Down-Jenkins earned SEC Diver of the Week, this time for his performance against North Carolina.
 
The Wellington, New Zealand native earns his second SEC weekly award after once again sweeping the 1-meter and 3-meter dives, this time in a win vs. UNC. Down-Jenkins scored a season high 437.55 in the 3-meter, 68 points more than second place. The sophomore won the 1-meter with a score of 354.75, 27 points ahead of the runner-up.
 
The Gamecocks return to action Nov. 22 when they start the three-day Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Ga.
