No. 4 Gamecocks Host Darius Rucker Intercollegiate This Weekend

Columbia, S.C.  – The No. 4 South Carolina women’s golf team makes the short trek to Hilton Head to host the “greatest show in women’s collegiate golf,” the 2020 Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. The tournament gets underway Friday from Long Cove Club in Hilton Head, S.C.

The Gamecocks are hosting a loaded field at Long Cove Club this weekend with No. 1 Texas, No. 6 Duke and No. 7 Wake Forest joining Carolina as the top-10 ranked teams. Beyond the top-10 is No. 12 LSU, No. 13 Alabama, No. 14 UCLA, No. 18 Arkansas, No, 19 Auburn, No. 20 Baylor, No. 21 Florida State, and No. 22 Vanderbilt in the top-25.
 
Rounds one and two get started at 8:30 a.m. ET on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Round three is set for an 8 a.m. start on Sunday. Live scoring will be available on Golfstat by clicking Here.
 
Roussin-Bouchard Named to 2020 Arnold Palmer Cup Team
 
Freshman Pauline Roussin-Bouchard was announced as part of the 2020 Arnold Palmer Cup international team on Wednesday. Roussin-Bouchard has been on fire this year, earning medalist honors at the Windy City Collegiate Classic back in October, and has helped the Gamecocks claim two tournament titles in the fall. The 2020 Arnold Palmer Cup will be hosted by Lahinch Golf Club on July 3-5, 2020.
 
Last Time Out
 
The Gamecocks took third at the IJGA Collegiate Invitational in Guadalajara, Mexico, while Pauline Roussin-Bouchard took third place as well. Roussin-Bouchard posted a 5-under 67 in the final round to secure her third-place finish.
