Carolina Calls Kicks Off Thursday, Aug. 19

“Carolina Calls” kicks off another year on Thursday, August 19, with the first “Carolina Calls with Shane Beamer” show. The weekly call-in show is held each Thursday night throughout the football season from Backstreets Grill on Devine Street in Columbia. Todd Ellis, the voice of Gamecock Football, hosts the show which features the Gamecocks’ first-year head coach.

The show will air from 7-8 p.m. on the flagship station of the Gamecocks, WNKT-FM (107.5 FM), over the Internet at GamecocksOnline.com, and on the Gameday App.

Backstreets Grill, proudly owned and operated by Gamecock Alumni, features a wide selection of wine and local craft beers, scratch made food and a family friendly atmosphere to view Gamecock Football. Backstreets is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner with brunch on Sundays at 11:30.
