Three Gamecocks Named to 2022 NFF Hampshire Honor Society Membership

Spencer Eason-Riddle, Nick Muse and Parker White Recognized for National Honor

Three University of South Carolina football players were among the 1,559 players from 313 schools honored by the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) as part of the 2022 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, it was announced today. 2022 marks the Society’s 16th year.

Those Gamecocks earning the distinction are Spencer Eason-Riddle, Nick Muse and Parker White.
 
Eason-Riddle, a linebacker and special teams performer, earned both an undergraduate degree in public health and a Master’s in health services policy and management. Muse, who played tight end, was a criminal justice major, while White, the school’s all-time leader in points scored, earned a bachelor’s degree in sport and entertainment management and is working towards a Master’s degree in business administration.
 
To be nominated, members of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society must have:

  • Completed their final year of playing eligibility in Fall 2021;
    • Graduated players, who have remaining eligibility but will not return to collegiate play (e.g. declared for NFL Draft or retired from football), may also be nominated.
  • Attained a minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.2 (4.0 scale);
  • Met all NCAA/NAIA-mandated progress towards degree requirements; and
  • Been starters or significant contributors throughout the 2021 season.
