Details Announced for Swim & Dive’s Parent & Alumni Weekend

Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina swimming & diving has released more details for its annual Parent & Alumni Weekend coming up Nov. 3-4, 2023.

The weekend of events will begin on Fri., Nov. 3 with the Gamecocks taking on North Carolina at 3:00 p.m. Following the meet, parents and alumni are invited to Happy Hour at Savage Craft Ale Works located at 430 Center Street in West Columbia. The Armory will be reserved for the group from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Appetizers will be provided and head coach Jeff Poppell will speak.

Events will continue on Sat., Nov. 4 with a parent & alumni tailgate at the fairgrounds. The tailgate will be located at the Fairgrounds White Reserved, Row 6, Space 73.

The final event of the weekend will be South Carolina football versus Jacksonville State on Saturday at noon. There is a discounted block of tickets available for those attending the event. Parents and alumni are encouraged to check the email newsletter for the link to purchase tickets.
