Know Before You Go: Vanderbilt

It’s our annual Salute the Troops game. Be sure to stay in your seats at halftime for the annual Salute the Troops halftime show where we’ll honor all active duty soldiers, veterans and those that have made the ultimate sacrifice.

It’s also not too late to support the Seats for Soldiers program presented by Dominion Energy. The Seats for Soldiers program is designed to provide active-duty service members and their family the ability to attend the Vanderbilt football game for free. Fans are able to purchase Seats for Soldiers tickets for $25 and those tickets will be donated to members of the military and their family. The first 100 fans to purchase at least 4 of the Seats for Soldiers tickets will receive a Patriotic Block C hat. As part of being the presenting sponsor, Dominion Energy will also match fan donated tickets for the game.

Gamecock Village presented by Farm Bureau Insurance will open at 8 a.m. As part of our Salute the Troops game, we will have multiple military vehicles on display.

We’ll also have food trucks on site for you to grab some grub before you head into the stadium. Beer and seltzer will also be available for purchase in multiple locations throughout Gamecock Village.

If it’s your first game, don’t forget to stop by the marketing table inside Gamecock Village to commemorate your first game

Don’t forget to take advantage of the pillars of Forever Garnet at Saturday’s game and all games throughout the season.

• Auctions: Want to stand on the sidelines to watch the team warm-up and 2001 or walk with Cocky in Gamecock Walk? Check out our auctions that close on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
• Memories: There’s still a few Game Day Experiences available for purchase for Saturday’s game. If you’re coming to be in town on Friday, be sure to check out our Stadium Tour.
• Rewards: Be sure to check in once you get into Williams-Brice Stadium to earn points for attending. These points can be redeemed for various prizes and sweepstakes.
• Gamecock Club Concessions Discount: Gamecock Club members can receive a 10% discount on certain concessions items at specific stands at Williams-Brice Stadium by scanning their Forever Garnet QR Code ID inside the Forever Garnet App.

The team will arrive around 10:00 a.m. and head into the stadium lead by Cocky, the drumline and our spirit teams. Get a spot early along the Tommy Suggs Garnet Way to cheer the Gamecocks on as they head into the stadium.

After Gamecock Walk, head over to the Gamecock Park Amphitheater for the Pregame Pep Rally featuring the Mighty Sound of the Southeast and our spirit teams, which begins around 10:20 a.m.
