Free concessions for men’s and women’s basketball

We’re excited to announce that beginning with the women’s and men’s basketball doubleheader on December 16 and lasting through the men’s game on Dec. 30, select concessions items will be FREE for all fans.

To receive the free concessions items, fans will need to utilize the Forever Garnet App.

The games included in this promotion include:

• Women’s Basketball vs. Presbyterian on Saturday, December 16 at 1 p.m.
• Men’s Basketball vs. Charleston Southern on Saturday, December 16 at 6 p.m.
• Men’s Basketball vs. Winthrop on Tuesday, December 19 at 7 p.m.
• Men’s Basketball vs. Elon on Friday, December 22 at 6 p.m.
• Men’s Basketball vs. Florida A&M on Saturday, December 30 at 2 p.m.

For the men’s and women’s basketball games between December 16 and December 30, the following concessions items will be free: hot dogs, regular fountain sodas, popcorn and bottled water.

How to use the Forever Garnet App to receive the free items:

1. Download the Forever Garnet App via the Apple or Google Play App stores
2. Create an account using the email tied to your South Carolina Athletics ticket account. All Gamecock Club members and all fans who already have tickets for December basketball games have had an account made for them already. These fans who are logging in for their first time should click the reset password button and enter the email tied to their membership to receive an email with information on resetting their password.
3. Click View ID on the bottom menu bar in the app to reveal your Forever Garnet QR Code ID. It is recommended that you add this QR code ID to your phone’s mobile wallet
4. Have the QR code scanned during checkout at the concessions stand. If you are getting additional items on top of the free items, you will be asked to pay at that time.

The Marketplace Stands located behind sections 105 and 114, the Snack Shack located behind section 112 and the Grill located behind section 102 will be the primary concessions stands dedicated to this promotion. Other stands throughout the arena will have all or some of these items available as well. In addition, regular menu items will also be available for purchase at all concessions stands.

For each transaction, fans can get one hot dog, popcorn and one regular fountain soda or bottled water for each ticket they have for that game. Fans can visit the concession stands an unlimited amount of times throughout the game. At each game, the free concessions promotion will end at the under 12 minute timeout for men’s basketball and at the end of the third quarter for women’s basketball.
