The event began in the Long Family Football Operations facility weight room shortly after 8 am as the players were measured for Height/Weight, Wingspan, Arm and Hand size. After the physical measurements were recorded, the players took part in the Vertical Jump and the Bench Press at 225 pounds.
The testing moved to the indoor practice facility where the Broad Jump, 40-yard dash, Short Shuttle, and 3-Cone drills were performed. Individual position drills wrapped up the day’s activities.
The day’s best marks were turned in by Dante Miller in the vertical jump (37 ½), broad jump (10-9) and 40-yard dash (4.27). Jabari Ellis did 35 reps on the bench press, just ahead of Tyreek Johnson, who benched 225 pounds 33 times. Ahmarean Brown showed off his quickness with a 4.31 shuttle (matching his time in the 40) and a 7.13 3-cone drill.
The NFL Draft is scheduled to be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27.
