Softball Resumes Suspended Game with Charleston Southern Tuesday
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina softball team will resume its suspended game from March 27 against Charleston Southern when the Gamecocks host the Buccaneers Tuesday at 3 p.m. Admission to the game will be free and the game will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
The game was originally part of a doubleheader with the Buccaneers, but the second game was suspended due to rain in the top of the second with Carolina leading 1-0. The Gamecocks jumped out to an early lead thanks to a solo home run from Kianna Jones with two outs.
The game will resume with Cadence Walding batting for CSU with a 2-1 count.
