Five Gamecocks Earn SEC Preseason Coaches All-SEC Honors

Five University of South Carolina football players have earned spots on the 2024 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Football teams, the conference office announced today.

Long snapper Hunter Rogers was the Gamecocks’ lone representative on the coaches’ first-team unit. Running back Raheim “Rocket” Sanders and linebacker Debo Williams highlight the coaches’ second-team squad, while defensive lineman Tonka Hemingway and defensive back Nick Emmanwori were named to the third team.

The Gamecocks open the 2024 season on Saturday, Aug. 31, when they host the Old Dominion Monarchs at Williams-Brice Stadium at 4:15 pm. The game will be televised on SEC Network. Tickets to the home opener can be purchased online at GamecocksOnline.com for $24 though Saturday, Aug. 24, as part of a Back to School promotion. In addition, season tickets, including the popular Gamecock Go Pass, remain on sale through the Athletics Ticket Office.
