Kick Time and Network for Gamecocks and Aggies Will Have to Wait

The South Carolina Gamecocks will host the 14th-ranked Texas A&M Aggies in a night game on Saturday, Nov. 2. Game time options in play are 7:30 or 7:45 pm ET and the contest will be televised on either ABC, ESPN or SEC Network. The official kick time and network for the game will not be announced until after the games of Oct. 26 are played.

This will be the first conference night game of the season for South Carolina and the game will culminate the University’s week-long Homecoming activities. The teams will be playing for the Bonham Trophy, named for James Butler Bonham, a hero of the Alamo and a USC alum.

In addition, nine former University of South Carolina standout student-athletes will be inducted into the USC Lettermen’s Association Hall of Fame as the Class of 2024 on Friday, Nov. 1 and will be recognized on the field during the A&M game. The nine newest members include Pharoh Cooper (football), Dana Fulmer (softball), Melvin Ingram (football), Bob Kaczka (men’s track and field/cross country), Tiffany Mitchell (women’s basketball), Tommy Moody (baseball/contributions to the Athletics Department), Jocelyn Penn (women’s basketball), Jason Richardson (men’s track and field) and Shalonda Solomon (women’s track and field).

The Aggies lead the all-time series by a 9-1 count including a 4-1 advantage when playing in Columbia, but the Gamecocks posted a 30-24 win in 2022, the last time the two teams got together at Williams-Brice Stadium.

South Carolina (4-3, 2-3 SEC) is off this week while Texas A&M (6-1, 4-0 SEC) hosts No. 8 LSU (6-1, 3-0 SEC) with sole possession of first place in the SEC standings on the line.
